Carlos Cortez

Carlos boasts 10+ years of coaching experience and holds his “C” License from the United States Soccer Federation. He also played professionally as a right-back for the Seattle Sounders as well as Club Sporting Cristal S.A. in his native country of Peru.

Prior to founding SFVFC, Coach Carlos was Head Coach of Valley United-Cortez, a boys youth team that won League Championship and competed in Coast Soccer League.

In addition to SFVFC, Carlos was also Head Coach for the Boys  Varsity Soccer team at Reseda High School and Cleveland Charter High School and  Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, CA.
